Glycosaminoglycans and type II collagen complementary feed
The joint cartilage is made up of a macromolecular gel that is richly hydrated and very stable due to the presence of proteoglycan aggregates, rich in glycosaminoglycans, and a network of collagen and elastin
fibres.
Any alteration to one of the components has adverse consequences on the mechanical properties of the joint cartilage.
The glycosaminoglycans and type II collagen of the complex performs a chondroprotective function by inhibiting the destructive enzymes (metalloproteinases, collagenases, proteinases) and promotes the macromolecular synthesis of cartilage cells. Silica of plant origin stimulates the synthesis of joint collagen. No side effects have been noted, which permits a continuous and regular administration.
Use for cats and dogs:
Supports joint metabolism and contributes to the integrity of joint cartilage (growth, convalescence, old age).
Instructions
1 capsule per day up to 40 kg, above this weight 2 capsules. The beneficial effects
generally appear between 15 to 20 days after regular administration. Give in repeatable periods of one
month, which can be extended, or permanently, adapt according to each individual case.
