17.3 My dog recently underwent surgery

After a bone (prostheses, fracture) or joint(?) (cruciate ligaments) surgery, your dog enters a healing phase. Your veterinarian will probably recommend you keep your dog calm for days, or even weeks, and not let it run within that time. This phase over, your dog can resume its ordinary physical activity, be it walks, runs in the garden or in the park with its mates or a sport. It is important that it resumes progressively. It may be interesting to feed it food supplements that help muscle recuperation, fight inflammations or contain chondroprotective nutrients.
